Chief Dwain Read with the Abernathy Police Department is the proud winner of the 2026 Texas Police Chiefs Foundation raffle. He is shown here with the 2025 Ford Bronco he won. Chief Read bought the winning ticket that supports the Texas Police Chiefs Foundation. The TPCA foundation provides $10,000 to families of fallen officers in the state of Texas, usually within 24 hours. The SPPCA is proud to support this worthy cause.
